Velsoft® -FR is the wide area fixation dressing coated with acrylic adhesive. The soft , non-woven material adheres well to the skin, it holds primary dressing at the wound site. Specially recommended at the body areas where flexibility requires. It provides moisture permeability, lets the skin breathe and prevents macerations.

Velcast is the plaster cast made from fiberglass material. As compared to traditional plaster of Paris cast, it is light in weight and more durable. It is three times stronger and is only one third in weight. Fiberglass sets quickly, therefore experience is required to time the application well. It is hygroscopic (absorbs water) and setting time decreases with humidity and warmth. It is indicated to be used in those cases where the healing process has already begun, acute period of injury has passed and fractures which are not displaced
